Proper opportunities and adequate attention can contribute to the efficient and effective performance of the differently abled people. It is estimated by the Global agencies that more than 40 million people are differently abled in India in various levels. Also in the country, there are many factors that contribute to augment the health, social, economic and cultural aspects. All the mentioned aspects contribute to the intensity of the issue by directly influencing the individual at the psychological and physical level. Also, there is alarming rate in regard to the low literacy level and awareness level among the differently abled people. Proper intervention and counselling at the early age can reaffirm and instil in the individual hope of better prospects.

 

CSIBCC has been incessantly intervening in the lives of differently abled children to help them realise their potentials and privileges. The systematic and individualised intervention plans enhances and facilitates their physical, sensory and intellectual capabilities.  The intervention plans and programmes cater to the children who are mentally challenged, hearing impaired, physically disabled and cerebral palsied

 

Objectives  

 

The prime objectives of the programme are,

Identifying and supporting differently abled children to help them realise their inherent abilities

Providing facilities to enhance their abilities and develop innovative ideas for better prospects

Providing holistic care and nurture in the formative period to make competent individuals

 

Intervention of CSI BCC 

 

 

CSIBCC is committed to serve and make sure that the differently abled children enjoy their rights and privileges; also they may have access to all available prospects to augment their standard of living and social standing. The systematic interventions enhance and facilitate their physical, sensory and intellectual capabilities. There are different programmes designed to serve the children who are mentally challenged, hearing impaired, physically disabled and cerebral palsied.
